Theme park comparison(hershey, six flags america, busch garden, disney etc)

The most frequently used theme park in US is : Disney world, Universal Studios
and Sea world. However for the best value for the money - the best park is
Busch garden (Tampa - not the williamburg one). This was 2nd best
park in world per forbes.com (first was in london). However - if you are looking
for the best one near baltimore/philly/washington area - then its defintely
Hershey park(where you can stay in their nice resort).

Theme park near Baltimore Area:
Near Baltimore/Philly area - there is sesame place, dorney etc which are
good attraction for small kids.
However for overall value - I would focuss on six flags america or six flag NJ(with safari) or Hershey garden. The Hershsey  park is my pick for family fun and overall value- though Six flags has better rides for adults(and cheaper). The one in NJ
includes Safari(probably different price).


Hershey park:
This has chocolate world - with tram ride explaining chocolate making process.
It also has Zoo  , besides water park(boardwalk - open only in summer)
and normal rides.  If you are going to go around 3 times  - you should buy season pass for one person(which includes parking) . The season pass owner would get coupon booklet containing - 3 discount coupons to bring friend for 33$(eg family member) - besides they get 15% discount on all food(indoor - not stalls) etc etc.
The main way to get overview of this park - is to take the blue train ride or
go to revolving elevator  called kissing tower.(infants allowed on both)

For kids - the best rides may be resse cup challenge(going on ride - and shooting
with laser gun for points) or geico fender bender(bumper car - not for small kids).
You can also taken infant with you in classic car in minetown area.
Of course -the main attraction for everyone - would be Boardwalk (including riptide)

There is also Hershey resort and Hershey garden nearby.(separate section)

Six Flags America :
It has got good rides for adults(besides decent water park). The best thing
about it is -that its cheap. (and they tend to give lots of free coupons for
season pass holders)

Universal Studio:
For me the best firework (on 4th july)- I saw  in my life - was in City walk area -
where you can see  3 fireworks(city walk , universal studio, adventure ) at same time.
Universal Studio has lots of interesting ride based on movie theme
(eg earthquake - where the flood comes near train
or "back to future" 3d ride or tornado etc).

Disney World:
Its best theme park for kids  - eg taking picture near castle with characters ,
late night fireworks, excellent ride for kids etc.
The main highlight for me was the excellent night time parade.

On related  - Epcot  park - I just remember fantastic - soaring(3d ride) - and lots
of "world" based theme/restaurants.

Sea World:
It has lot of sea animal based shows. Best known show is shamu(which recently killed
its trainer) or dolphin shows.  There also other pet animal(dog,cat) shows
which were also pretty good.

Busch Garden(Tampa, FL - not williamsburg):
Its an  amazing park (free beer for many would be attraction) with excellent zoo, 3D shows, water park - normal park, taking safari by train, ride which goes on land and
water etc. For overall value - its undoubtedly the best park in US.(hence it was
named as 2nd best park in forbes)
There is also a water park (seperate fee) next to it.
